Pec Japan head Office and factory, we worked on a new form of office and factory that would improve the company’s intellectual productivity and operational efficiency by consolidating the head office, research, development, and production departments, as well as enhance collaboration and interaction among the departments. In addition to the above, the plan also addressed issues such as the continuation of production activities and connection with existing factories by planning the headquarters, research, development, and production areas in a single building, thereby achieving both rationalization of planning and a “place” where business continuity and in-depth communication can be achieved. In addition, the connection between the office and production areas is made by creating a skipped floor with a vaulted ceiling, which connects the entire building and induces communication between the two areas.
