Magwe General Hospital, Myanmar

設計コンセプト

Magwaye General Hospital is an expansion and renovation project funded by Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA) for the core hospital in Magwaye , a regional city in Myanmar. Aiming to create a medical care environment that is an extension of the daily lives of the people of Myanmar, who live together with nature and their families, the hospital wards were arranged to face the lush green areas on the site. In Myanmar, it is customary for the family members of patients to take care of them outside of medical treatment, so a waiting area for family members was secured. In addition, since the shortage of medical personnel is a serious problem in Myanmar, partitions were removed from the general wards to integrate the wards with the medical flow line, so that patients can see each other from the medical flow line.
