13 14１つ目の視点は、「新しい生活のあり方」です。建築は私達の生活や経済活動の基盤となるものです。私達は建築の設計を通じて、新しい生活のあり方について考えています。2020 年の東京オリンピック開催等をきっかけに、日本にはこれまで以上に多くの方々が世界中から訪れることになります。日本の都市や建物・ホテル・交通機関・サインシステム等は外国の方々にとって快適なものなのでしょうか。私達は、日本人はもちろん、外国から訪れる方々にとっても、快適な生活環境づくりを提案していきます。東京大学高齢社会総合研究機構の予測によると、2030 年に日本は全人口の1/3 が65 歳以上の高齢者となる、世界にも類を見ない超高齢社会を迎えます。このような状況になると、これまでの社会システムは十分に機能しなくなります。私達は建築設計を通じて、個々のライフスタイルや地域コミュニティのあり方を見つめ直し、超高齢社会に対応する新たな社会システムや施設を提案していきます。+1 LIFEINASHIKI CITY SHINTONE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLOur first vision is for new life scheme.Architecture underpins our everyday life styles andeconomic activities. We seek to propose new lifestyles through architectural design.The 2020 Tokyo Olympics will encourage more peoplethan ever before to visit Japan. We will propose newcity life style that is comfortable for all the peoplevisiting and living in Japan by our Clients' buildings,and urban developments including hotels, transportsystem and city signage system.The Institute of Gerontology of the University of Tokyoforecasts that people over the age of 65 will accountfor one third of Japan’s population by 2030. Thisproportion has never been reached before anywherearound the world. The current social systems willno longer function under such circumstances. Withour new building proposals, we seek to revampindividual lifestyle paradigms and regional communityapproaches to provide new social systems andfacilities that accommodate the needs of highly agedsocieties.
